We went over to my mom and dads house last night to celebrate his 53rd birthday:) Some family friends came over and it was a wonderful evening.... later in the night was not soo wonderful but I will blog about that later!
We had steak, potatoes and salad. I made the dessert...homemade chocolate sheet cake. I must admit, last time I made the cake, it turned out to be a disaster. But that my friends was because I was young (last year,ha), not married yet and not domesticated as I am now:) I somehow confused the teaspoons and tablespoons and didn't put enough coco in it! opppps... This time my friends................ drum roll please............... The cake was a hit. The icing was not perfect because I did have some clumps of powdered sugar but who doesn't like powered sugar?
