I am so excited about the Holiday season and so I am starting my Christmas baking on Sunday. Actually I have never had a Christmas where I have baked much and since I have a house and a husband and I love to bake... I thought let's go for it:)
Turn on a little Christmas music.... turn on the lights on the Christmas Tree... and bake.. bake.. bake... FUN:)
What am I baking this weekend??? (Mom if you are reading my blog... read no further.. the next item is a surprise.... if you continue to read forward.. don't tell dad or Sarah....)
* A Snowman Cake.... hopefully is will be soo cute... hopefully....My parents are coming over for dinner on Sunday and I am making it for them:)
* Reindeer Cupcakes...They are soo stinking cute:) Lets just hope my turn out cute:)My girls night group is coming over to our house Monday night for an ornament exchange and I am making the cupcakes for them!
* Candy Cane Cake - making it for my girls night group:)
* Candy Popcorn
* Snowball cookies:) I am making these for my party and also I am going to give the guys that work in the shop at my office little baggies with cookies in them.Also, I want to bring some cookies or a cake to a nursing home
* Chex Mix - having it for my party and also bringing some for the shop guys!
I will take lots and lots of pictures....(that is... if my baking turns out good:) )
It is always a tradition in my family that when my brother gets home from college we all go to my mom and dad's house and make Christmas cookies. We also decorate them. We have turned it into a competition! Ryan one last year and I think it hurt my little brother's feelings because... he is mom's baby not Ryan;)
Anyone have any good holiday baking recipes I should try out this weekend??

I love holiday baking! I'm not doing any until the week before Christmas when my Mom gets back to town (its our tradition to bake together)
