Today is my TGIF:) YEAH!!!!
* My mom's surgery went well! God love her though.. she only can use her left hand and her right hand is in a cast and hurts very very bad!!! Poor momma:(

* I was trying to preserve some of my ultrasound pictures and I decided to laminate them.. well I put five on one sheet and sent it thru the laminator.. welp RUINED MY PICTURES! Turned them pitch black!! I cried soo much!!! Im a horrible mother.. ruined my baby girls first pictures:(
I do have scanned copies on my computer so I am having them printed at Walgreen's.. but not the same:(
* My mom can't decide what she wants to be called as a grandma... any and all suggestions are highly recommended on this post:) PLEASE:)
* Also, we have an Easter egg dying contest every year at my mom and dads.. I won it last year by turning my Easter eggs into a bunny and chick....

Here is where I need your help... WHAT SHOULD I DO THIS YEAR????? I HAVE TO WIN AGAIN!!!!:) Any suggestions would be great:)
* I have tomorrow off:) Yeah!!! We are going around town looking at baby bedding.. cribs and all fun baby stuff:) Hip Hip Hooray:)
* Ryan is going to a bachelor party in Dallas tomorrow night so I am staying at my parents and bonding:)
* Saturday is the Easter egg contest and I am making these for it:)
* Please help me win again:) ha!!! I want my eggs to be the best.. I saw something cute for a bumble bee... but need more cute ideas....
* Sunday we are going to mass as a family and then Ryans parents are coming to my parents house for Easter dinner:)
* I got a cute new dress from Anne Taylor Loft:)

Garth is from South Africa and he called his grandparents Oma (for grandma) and Opa (for grandpa) and my parents like that better and want to be called Oma and Opa (when that time comes). Hope that helps!=)

My mom is Karen and is going to be called "K.K." My dad is going to be called Poppy.

I've always kind of liked Nani and Papi for grandparents' names, but I don't know if I'd be bold enough to do something like that? Why not though:-)
I was going to suggest a bumble bee or a lady bug or you could connect a bunch together and do a caterpillar maybe.

My 'rents have already decided they want to be Nana and Pops, ha! I guess that's what they can be to their granddogs!

My kids have a nana and a granma. Not to original. Seriously when Cate starts babbling and the "ga" sounds do come early, you"ll probably pick some variant like gaga or gigi. It's all fun though!! Yeah, I was thinking maybe something baby like, but I'm in a creative slump currently. :( And that is horrible about the ultrasound pics! I hate that paper they print them on. Thank goodness you did have a copy of them saved!! I know its not the same, but it's still something! :) Hope you win your contest!!

Don't know how to do it, BUT, could you somehow make a baby bump out of the egg? It'd be so fitting for this year!

3. I always like the traditional Grandma. My husband's mom goes by Grammy, which seems to becoming more and more popular.
I always just called both of my grandmothers, grandma. Not very original. My other ideas were Nana & Memaw, both of which have already been suggested. The only other good one I can think of is in yiddish they use Bubbe.

Call your doctors office and ask the sonographer if she saved the pics in her computer. Sometimes they do that, and I bet she would print you more. I know your not the first to do this!

My nephew is 11 months old and my mom still doesn't know what she wants to be called! She has changed it like 20 times! HA! I am so excited for the first weekend in May! YAY! Have so much fun tomorrow picking out baby furniture!

My mom goes by Mimi. She says it makes her feel like a young grandma ;) and my step dad goes by Grandpa mess.

when my oldest was learning to talk, for some reason he started calling my mom "Sushi" and it stuck. We always referred to my dad as "Grumpy" - believe me, it fit!!!

Hey girlie. Look in my archives on my blog at July of 2008 and there are some pictures of her room. It's kinda hard to tell but her furniture is sort of an antique white or cream color. I love looking at other baby girl rooms too! Definitely show us some pics when you get all her bedding and stuff!!!
