So orkin comes out Monday and said they would spray for the beetles and that everyone in our town was having a problem with them... but that he wasn't sure what the deal was over our sink... That night Ryan gets home and decides to rip out the window seal... GOOD THING HE DID! There were over a million Carpenter ants! He killed the queen and all her lil workers and felt soo excited! But in the meantime.. while ripping out the window seal.. he accidentally broke the window glass, and broke the window seal! WHOOPS! But killed the ants... but the ants kept sneaking out and dying!!
So fast forward to Thursday... imagine.. 7 month pregnant wife, still finding water beetles everywhere, still having ants creep out into my kitchen, still no window seal, still have a cracked window and STILL NO CALL FROM ORKIN TO SCHEDULE OUR SPRAYING! I FREAKED out! Ryan called orkin and said, "My wife is going crazy, please come spray our house.. it has been a week and we have heard from no one.. we will take our business elsewhere??" They came the next morning:)
I followed the poor Orkin man all over the house! Told him sorry but that I was pg and crazy:)ha! He said... well that is why my wife and I haven't had kids yet.. she is crazy already and she isnt pg:) He laughed and so did I!
Still finding random lil dead bugs but nothing like it has been!
Let's just pray this lil bug party is OVER:) I cant take it:)

We had an ant problem earlier this summer. We just kept spraying and using bug bombs. They are finally gone. We just discovered a huge pile of them in the back yard. We sprayed them like crazy. We aren't taking any chances! I'm glad the Orkin man finally came!
Gah! My parents battled ants in their house for YEARS. They hired and fired several exterminators. They finally hired Llyod Pest Control (a So California company) and those guys finally killed them all. They found the ant nests in the gardens and the yard and killed the ants both inside of any outside of the house. Yuck! Good luck. Thats no fun at all!

Seriously, bugs are the grossest! At least the hubs finally got them there! You poor thing!

Oh goodness ,I hate bugs too.We have had them like crazy with this dry hot weather.Millipedes have been our biggest problem,it is oh so gross.At night they take over my house,we have done everything you can posssibly do to get rid of them.They crawl in and then they die,and then I suck them up in the vaccum cleaner,lol!My husband put like 4 bags of sevin dust around our house,and they did finally help some,I have went from seeing about 20 a night to like 5.I know that is rediculous,but we have a swamp about a mile and a half back behind my house,so we get every creature known to man in the summer time,lol.Sorry the bugs caused you so much trouble!!

ew ew ew!!! It makes me do a bug dance just thinking about it! We've had huge black ants invade our kitchen once this summer and I got the house sprayed two days later. They were so big that at first I thought they were spiders!
I hate a bug!

Oh my gosh, I would have freaked too! I HATE ants with a passion. I saw like 30 ants when we first moved in and immediately called a pest controller. I would shop around too, because my place is so great! They came and sprayed everything..the outside, inside, attic, garage, fence, everything! And they come out every other month for $65 and spray. And if you have an "outbreak" of bugs in the meantime they will respray for free! and they are eco friendly which is nice. I just googled in my area and found them!

"The bug dance" Haha! That made me laugh out loud! You are so funny! I think that the fact that Luke and I live on the 2nd floor of our apt building it keeps the bugs out. Which is nice!!

Bugs make me insane! And while pregnant they make me more insane. And when I have little girls all over the floors...again, more insane. I hope the problem is remedied very soon!
