Things just seem to be getting crazier and crazier.....
* About three weeks ago, my dr told me I needed to be off my feet for most of the day... only on my feet 3 to 4 hours a day
* My blood pressure has been continually high and therefore, my Dr considers me a high risk pregnancy because I could go into labor early
* Cate is still growing right on track... she weighs 2lbs 3oz right now
* I am not working anymore at the office... I do somethings here and there but for the most part I am resting... taking little outings here and there and laying in the pool, reading, watching some TV, and learning how to knit
* I try and keep a positive attitude but it is hard for me to do so little
* My husband is sooo goood.... breakfast in bed... cleaning the house, planting the flowers, getting dinners ready.... I am soo blessed
* My family is sooo good too! Most days Ryan just brings the dogs and I to my parents because I do not feel so alone there
* Halley and Daisy are spoiled! Daisy thinks she is a white lap dog... because she goes everywhere with us now
* Its hard because a lot of stuff I was going to do this summer has been put on the back burner...
* I had to miss a good friends wedding over the weekend
* I'm not going to be able to travel to Destin :(
* But I am more than happy to mind the Dr and help my lil Cate grow grow grow!
* We got to the Dr next week and then we start going every week.. until she comes, because of my high blood pressure.. which I have never had high blood pressure before
* My moms best friend of 21 years, husband unexpectedly died of what we believe to be a heart attack, yesterday morning
* We have been over at their house non-stop the past two days and will remain there until the funeral Friday morning
* God works in crazy ways and it just breaks my heart to see Kathy and her kids soo broken, "Why did this happen?" " I just want him to be here," "What is my mom going to do wihout him," All the questions they ask are just questions that are not able to be answered
* I told his daughter Sarah.... he is in your heart and she said, "I dont want him there... I want him here with me!"
* Please keep their family in your prayers!
* We have our first baby shower this weekend and we are so excited! My wonderful friends are throwing us a couples shower! So excited
* We had a 4d ultraound this morning... we elected to have it, so we had to pay for it
* Lil Cup-Cate was being SHY!! She showed us her skinny toes.... long skinny legs.... long fingers... she even gave us a fist..... we got a few shots of her face but no full face shots... SOOOO we get to go back next Tuesday for another one:)

Keep your chin up about having to rest--you're taking care of your sweet little Cup-Cate (love that!) and that's what's important. Enjoy the down time, because soon there won't be any! Your friends are in my prayers--unexpected deaths like that are so terrible.

I'll be in Vegas Mon - Thurs and then I have the twins on Friday (my cousin Cathey's babies) ... so maybe we can make it the week after that ... or if you're up for some baby holding we could stop by next Friday!

Oh, hang in there, dear friend. I can imagine being on semi-bed-rest would drive anyone nuts, but you're such a good mom already, taking care of Cate before she is even here! Praying for you! Let us know how we can help you out here in bloggy world!

Isn't it crazy that they can do a
4D ultrasound??!! That is amazing:) I know the resting is probably driving you crazy, but just think about how active you'll be once Cate is here!!!! I hope everything continues to go smoothly for you!

Keep your head high, I went on strict bed rest at 27 weeks and it was tough work but worth every single bit! I know that is exactly how you feel also! I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend, and will keep them in my prayers a long with baby cate! Her pictures are amazing! I love the 4-D ultrasound pictures!

I'm always so amazed when I see these 4D pictures! I'm so sorry you are having to rest so much. I bet you get so bored, but anything for that precious baby! Can't wait to see pictures from your showers. I bet Cate will get the cutest stuff!

Hi Friend! I'm so sorry you are having a hard time...I know how hard it is to have limitations! Being pregnant definitely isn't for wimps! haha. Can you come teach me to knit?! haha. I can crochet pretty well, but knitting is beyond me! I want to crochet a blanket, but I swear time is escaping me so quickly!
Cates legs are so cute, and so are her feet! We are talking about getting a 3d, I just want to see what our little man looks like!!!

So sorry you are still having to lay low. I know that must be so hard with all you feel like you need to do. Sounds like you have a great support system with Ryan and so lucky that your parents are so close!! I will keep you and Cate in my prayers. Take it easy and don't try to do too much...it will all come together :)

And she does have long legs...or so it appears! Can't wait to see the next ones and hopefully she will be feeling the camera more and show us that precious little face a little better!

THE DAY i had the baby I was ready and ready to run and move around .... she is beautiful I ALSO HAD THOSE 4 D WELL BACK THEN 9 YRS AGAO THEY WERE 3 D 'S AND THEY WERE AMAZING AND I SWAR RELLA LOOKS JUST LIKE HER FACE SHOOTS . Hey Emily, I have been reading your blog for a few months now and I love it! You are just too cute for words! I love the 4d pics of Cate, I can't believe how long her little legs are! I can't wait to see if you get shots of her face next time. A friend of mine just had a baby and it was remarkable how he looked just like his 4d pic! I had diabetes with my 2nd pregancy... I couldn't believe it b/c I have always been athletic and under weight. So hang in there with the high BP... a good season to relax and let baby grow :)
