I am so sorry for my absence... having a new baby around and a husband at work, makes for a very very busy day! At the end of the day I feel like I haven't really gotten much done but I do have a beautiful little girl:)
My water broke at 230am on August 21! We went to the hospital and by 2:39 we had a 7lb 7 oz little bundle of joy! She has a full head of brown hair but it gets lighter as the days go by! She is just the sweetest lil thing we have ever met! The last two weeks with her have been wonderful! She does have her days and nights completely mixed up but I heard that too will pass! I am feeling well, expect for the emotions! I cry a lot, prolly because I am tired and some because I just don't want her to grow up to fast! I just love her more than words can say.
Ryan was able to spend our first week home with us and that was such a blessing. I was so sad when he went back to work but my mom and sister stepped in and helped out a ton!! My sister starts work this week, she is taking over my position at my job and I will be staying home with Cate full time! Good luck sister! We are really going to miss you this week! My sister was over at our house every morning by 9am! I really do not know what I am going to do without her!
I will post a few pics on today's post and spend most of the week, sharing more pictures... trust me.. I have taken over 500 already! Wow!
Thank you for all the encouragement, prayers, kind words, thoughtfulness and love over the last 10 months! I am so blessed to have all of you guys as friends! Thank you!!

How sweet!! There is nothing like having a baby! Don't ask me why, but I got teary eyed when I saw your pics! So, so, so sweet! Anyways, about Cate having her days and nights mixed up, just try not to talk to her at night, at all. Just do what needs to be done (feed, change) and then put her back down. Its tempting to want to talk to that sweet angel, but she has no idea that it is night time, not play time. I hope that helps a little, but hang in there. You are doing awesome, and it does get better! When I had Avery my 3rd, I thought I was gonna die bc Caleb my 2nd was still getting up in the night! I felt like I was up all the time! That 1st mth, maybe first 2 mths feel like a blur! And yes, I don't want them to grow either!! Just stay in the moment and give lots of hugs and kisses!

Congratulations! She is beautiful and you look great! So happy for you that you are going to stay home with her. You won't regret it! It will be hard some days being a SAHM, but totally worth it in the end!! Enjoy your little baby girl. It truly goes by SO FAST.....and remember to take LOTS of pictures and video of her. Oh, and make sure you get lots of pictures of you with her. As a mom, we tend to take more pictures of the baby and others, and forget about ourselves. And we did all the work. :)

Oh Emily, she is too cute for words! I just love all these pictures and it brings so many memories of my little ones. Esp. Bentley being that her and Cate are just 1 year and 1 day apart. ;) Enjoy every minute.. time flies when you're having fun. Although Bentley is at a fun stage, I still miss those newborn moments.
