Oh my gosh, that is an adorable picture! That is one of the photographers I've been looking at for newborn pics, even though that's several months away, it's really important for me to find a good photographer! Have you had any other photo sessions with her?

She's such a cutie!! Love her.

My favorite books were the Bearenstein Bear books, and Shel Silverstein (The Giving Tree, Where the Sidewalk Ends) as well as picture books--I had this fantastic book about teddy bears that I just loved. I'm currently trying to find it on Amazon--if I do, I'll let you know the title.

The Littlest Angel is the sweetest book. Its by Charles Tazewell. I gave it to my niece last year for Christmas. She is almost 18months. Its a sweet book and one she will have forever. I still have my copy from when I was a little girl. That picture of Cate is so cute :)

My favorite book is/was Mister Dog. My puppy is named after the main character - Crispin's Crispian. It is an amazing little book. It is by the same author as Good Night Moon and Sailor Dog - but less known than her other books.

the suggestions listed above are all really good - we have a bunch of them but i also love getting the personalized books from pottery barn. they make a great story out of the letters of your children's name. right now for christmas they have christmas story you can personalize. super cute. but they are a bit pricey so definitely not your everyday books but still an awesome gift. also for girls you have to check out fancy nancy books and gigi - God's little princess. they are both fabulous

Are you looking more for suggestions on great children's books or books your child will love? Because they're not always the same. My kids just don't get "Guess How Much I Love You?" but they sure do love any books by Dav Pilkey (Dog Breath, The Halloweener, Captain Underpants, etc).
My 2 year old's favorite books now are the simple board books that have pics of animals or toys or items around the house. He likes to show us how much he knows by pointing to each picture and telling us what it is. Board books are great because before you know it she will be chewing on just about anything!
She sure is a cutie and yes, you have a fantastic photographer!

hi darling! I don't know if I commented on this but so many of my videos are on my phone so I usually email them to myself and then upload them that way. If you're using the updated blog editor, you may not see the option to upload a video so if you switch to the older version you will see it
