Ants... Beetles... OH MY

Apparently last week was bug week at my house! We started noticing in our kitchen around our sink.. dry wall dust leaking out of our window seal and an occasional ant sneaking out! So we would clean up the dry wall clean the ants and move on! We we started noticing more and so I called ORKIN! Of course they said "oh where ants are.. sometimes that means termites too!" Well our house is only five years old and so my husband was like.. no not termites! But still I was FREAKED! Not only did we have the ants but these dang lil beetles kept showing up ALL OVER MY HOUSE! They were usually dead or dying... I mean I would find 8 a day... ugh! I would do my bug dance every single time I would see them! HATE BUGS!

So orkin comes out Monday and said they would spray for the beetles and that everyone in our town was having a problem with them... but that he wasn't sure what the deal was over our sink... That night Ryan gets home and decides to rip out the window seal... GOOD THING HE DID! There were over a million Carpenter ants! He killed the queen and all her lil workers and felt soo excited! But in the meantime.. while ripping out the window seal.. he accidentally broke the window glass, and broke the window seal! WHOOPS! But killed the ants... but the ants kept sneaking out and dying!!

So fast forward to Thursday... imagine.. 7 month pregnant wife, still finding water beetles everywhere, still having ants creep out into my kitchen, still no window seal, still have a cracked window and STILL NO CALL FROM ORKIN TO SCHEDULE OUR SPRAYING! I FREAKED out! Ryan called orkin and said, "My wife is going crazy, please come spray our house.. it has been a week and we have heard from no one.. we will take our business elsewhere??" They came the next morning:)

I followed the poor Orkin man all over the house! Told him sorry but that I was pg and crazy:)ha! He said... well that is why my wife and I haven't had kids yet.. she is crazy already and she isnt pg:) He laughed and so did I!

Still finding random lil dead bugs but nothing like it has been!
Let's just pray this lil bug party is OVER:) I cant take it:)

Weekend Update

HI HI HI:)
We celebrated my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary this weekend:) yay!
What great role models they are for Ryan and I.. My Gaw Gaw and Paw Paw are trully eachothers biggest fan and best friend! My mom did a speech and in it she said that when she went to the the dr with them a few weeks ago the dr asked my Paw Paw, "Roy who is your best friend?" My Paw Paw just smiled and pointed to my Gaw Gaw:) So CUTE:)



Friday afternoon my Aunt and mom took my Gaw Gaw to get her hair done:) And I sat with my Paw Paw and we watched TV Land, Western Shows but we really didnt watch tv.. we just talked! So fun just sitting and talking with my Paw Paw! I LOVE HIM:) Friday night we ate dinner with family and I relaxed! Sometimes on the weekends I over do my 3-4 hours on my feet! So I have to be careful!

Saturday morning we took my Gaw Gaw to get her nails and toes done:) She is just soo cute:)





After nails we went to eat lunch and then I went home and rested:) Then I snuck out and visted my friend who had just had her twins boys Carter and Bryce:) Her daughter Katelyn was there too:)







After we visited the hospital, we went back to my aunts and I took a nap and rested again! Then we got ready and were off to the 60th wedding anniversary celebration:)











It was such a great weekend and I am soo happy for my grandparents:) Just seeing the pictures again makes my heart just ooze with happiness:)

Wordful Wed - Cute Hubby

I LOVE my husband and I feel soo blessed and lucky to have him in my life:) I thank God for him evrery single day! The following pictures really melt my heart.. they kind of show you how excited he is about baby girl coming soon:) At our shower he was opening gifts.. modeling gifts.. taking gifts out of boxes... posing with the gifts! He was just the custest! gosh I am soo lucky!!

He was even slightly sad that the next two showers are girl only ones! I told him at some point during the showers he could come! He doesn't want to miss the gift opening:)

Cate gave us the middle finger :) that is not very nice lil girl!
She also, is already an OSU cowboy fan... she gave us a GO POKES hand sign!

29 Week Bump Update

I went to the dr today and Cate is doing well, despite my high blood pressure:)
I have 17 dr apts from now until I have her!! Sometimes two in one day!
BPP scans and ultrasounds every time, to check on Cate's growth!

I am working in a word document right now on my brother's computer. I somehow made it so every time I enter or change pharagraphs.. it shows a pharagraph sign or shows a little sqaure showing that I entered...

HOW DO I GET THOSE SIGNS OFF OF THE SCREEN???

Random Monday

Hi Hi Hi:)
Lots of random tid bits and also, some feedback :)

* I am so glad last week is over! Please continue to pray for our dear family friends as they continue to find answers and strength!

* We had our first shower on Saturday and it was so much fun! It was a couples shower and my friends really out did themselves!

* Cate got so much great stuff

* Lots of pictures to come this week and a 28 week bump alert! She is really growing and so is momma:)

* Ryan actually LOVED opening all the gifts! He would put her bibs on and he especially loved the stroller we got, he was doing tricks with it!ha

* My brother got us one of those flip video cameras! We love it

* I video taped Ryan putting together Cate's rocker and I video taped her messy, not put together room, I will share this week

* Poor Daisy has a staff infection last week and is on antibiotic and a medicated shampoo... the infection caused her to stink... we called her Stinky Head... but guess what, after last nights bath... no more stinky head!YAY

* I took the dogs with me to get a car wash, Halley has been in the car before, so it was no big deal for her, Daisy was freaked!! She wouldn't lay down and when we pulled out and I put on the wind shield wipers... she was amazed! She followed the wipers with her head, back and forth, back and forth!

* Our 4d got moved to Thursday, I hope she shows her face this time

* I have my weekly Dr apt wed, pray it goes perfect

* I must be nesting because I have a few household questions for my fine bloggy friends

* Our cabinets are painted this greeny color and over the paint is like a glaze.... I need to know what to use to wash them... I have tried soap and water and that i not doing the trick, the old owners didn't keep them up, and they are dirty.... any advice on what to use on them to get them sparkling clean????????

* Also, Ryan planted our flowers in our front bed and he didn't pull/kill some of the weeds before doing soo, is there anything I(I mean Ryan) can spray in there to get those dang weeds out... and grass is growing in there too... IT DRIVES ME NUTS!

* I am in love with hydrangeas... does anyone know how much the plants cost? Do they need to be in direct sunlight or partial?

* I hope everyone is having a great week so far:) I will be reading lots of blogs today and tomorrow!yahooo:)

What We Have Been Doing & 4d Pics

Hello Friends:)
Things just seem to be getting crazier and crazier.....

* About three weeks ago, my dr told me I needed to be off my feet for most of the day... only on my feet 3 to 4 hours a day

* My blood pressure has been continually high and therefore, my Dr considers me a high risk pregnancy because I could go into labor early

* Cate is still growing right on track... she weighs 2lbs 3oz right now

* I am not working anymore at the office... I do somethings here and there but for the most part I am resting... taking little outings here and there and laying in the pool, reading, watching some TV, and learning how to knit

* I try and keep a positive attitude but it is hard for me to do so little

* My husband is sooo goood.... breakfast in bed... cleaning the house, planting the flowers, getting dinners ready.... I am soo blessed

* My family is sooo good too! Most days Ryan just brings the dogs and I to my parents because I do not feel so alone there

* Halley and Daisy are spoiled! Daisy thinks she is a white lap dog... because she goes everywhere with us now

* Its hard because a lot of stuff I was going to do this summer has been put on the back burner...

* I had to miss a good friends wedding over the weekend

* I'm not going to be able to travel to Destin :(

* But I am more than happy to mind the Dr and help my lil Cate grow grow grow!

* We got to the Dr next week and then we start going every week.. until she comes, because of my high blood pressure.. which I have never had high blood pressure before

* My moms best friend of 21 years, husband unexpectedly died of what we believe to be a heart attack, yesterday morning

* We have been over at their house non-stop the past two days and will remain there until the funeral Friday morning

* God works in crazy ways and it just breaks my heart to see Kathy and her kids soo broken, "Why did this happen?" " I just want him to be here," "What is my mom going to do wihout him," All the questions they ask are just questions that are not able to be answered

* I told his daughter Sarah.... he is in your heart and she said, "I dont want him there... I want him here with me!"

* Please keep their family in your prayers!

* We have our first baby shower this weekend and we are so excited! My wonderful friends are throwing us a couples shower! So excited

* We had a 4d ultraound this morning... we elected to have it, so we had to pay for it

* Lil Cup-Cate was being SHY!! She showed us her skinny toes.... long skinny legs.... long fingers... she even gave us a fist..... we got a few shots of her face but no full face shots... SOOOO we get to go back next Tuesday for another one:)
