34 Week Bump and Update:)

* I have spent almost all of this morning catching up on blogs and have more blog reading to do this afternoon:) Oh yay I love new readers and followers:) Thanks for being soooo wonderful and great to me friends! You guys are the best!

* At our Dr apt last week, our Dr told us she will be inducing me around 38 weeks:) Which is around August 19Th:) Not next week, but the next, we will schedule the induction! She is inducing due to my high blood pressure!

* We have a baby shower this week! I am soo excited and so blessed! I will post tons of pics from it next week:) PROMISE:)

* During the ultrasound yesterday Cate showed us her finger and counted to five and then kind of waved... CUTEST.THING.EVER!

* Ryan hurt his shoulder really bad during his softball game wed! We had to get xrays! No bones are broken but we may have to get an MRI next week because he is in a lot of pain! Pray no surgery is needed! Poor GUY:( I know when he is really hurt because he always refuses to go to the dr... and this time, he suggested it!

* I have been feeling pretty good, just really tired and lots of headaches! I had to miss a bloggy friend/now real life friends:) meet up with Linds, Whitney and Megan on Wed night because I just wasn't feeling up to it! Promise girls... we must meet up before baby Cate gets here.. OK?

* Just wanted to thank my bloggy friends/real life friends:) Erin, Tracy and Lyns... We email each other quite often and I do not know what I would do without their constant enthusiasm, advice, comparative stories and just uplifting words:) Love you guys!!!

* Here is my 34 bump update!

Thankful

I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
I am very sad this week because my whole family is away in Destin, Florida and because of my high blood pressure and double weekly appointments, I am not allowed to travel:( Ryan is taking good care of me, but I sure do miss my family!!
Here are a few pictures I LOVE from my Mom's birthday last week! The girl in the grey dress is my cousin Alex, she is visiting for a month from London:) She just graduated from Oxford:) yay Alex:)

Home Updates

Seems like just recently we have decided to update things around the house! First it was the bug problem, which lead to some necessary updates, that were not so necessary at first! The ant issue called for a new window seal and new glass in the window! Then is was the threshold on the back door, which was going to be sooooo simple, but ended up being a 6 hour project and in the process my husband took our back door off at 10 PM and million of bugs flew in! Here are a few more projects we are in the processes of completing or need to complete before baby Cate makes her grand entrance into this wonderful world! I used rephrase and say... Ryan must complete, instead of WE because, well we all know I cant do a whole lot right now:( Our families are also, helping out loads as well:)

- Prep Cate's room for painting - Done
- Sand and paint the baseboards in Cate's room - Done
- Paint Cates's room..... DONE:) Yay - My brother, dad, Ryan and his brother all helped prep, sand and paint her room:)
- Hang Cate's Chandelier - Done but took 3 hours and caused my husband to cuss(which he rarely ever does!)
- Sand Chest of Drawers - My mom, sister and cousin did a wonderful job sanding:)
- Prime chest of drawers - prime has been bought but no priming down yet
- Paint chest of drawers - Paint matched to Cate's dresser but not painted yet
- Move out all the furniture in the whole house
- Rip out carpet in the whole house
- Sand all the baseboards in the whole house
- Lowe's to come and lay new carpet
- Move furniture back in the house
- Put Cate's furniture together
- Put her room together

Needless to say, I have had many a melt down! The carpet will take 2 weeks to come in!! So the puts us at the first week of august to start laying the new carpet!
STRESSFUL!!!
But I am lucky enough to have a great husband and family who will help get everything finished before Cate gets here!
Nothing like waiting for a new baby to get stuff done around the house!

Cravings

While being pregnant I haven't really had any major cravings.. that is, until just recently!! At first I was so sick nothing sounded good at all and I was lucky if I could keep anything down. Then I craved sour candy and sno cones all the time!! Then it was pineapple and fruit! Last week I had to have a Candy Bar Pie!!
My mom had made it before but for some reason I was having dreams about this pie!
I would love to share the recipe with you guys!!

Candy Bar Pie
6 almond Hershey's bars or you can use plain
1 1/2 cup miniature marshallows or 18 large
1/2 cup of milk
1 (8oz) ctn. Cool Whip

Melt candy bars, marshmallows and milk in top of a double boiler. Chill thoroughly, then fold cool whip into chocolate mixture and pour into cool pie crust(I prefer the graham cracker pie crust!). Chill several hours.

It is the best dessert ever.. but it is very very rich!
I only had a small piece and had my craving fulfilled:)

Lil Cup-Cate is definitely doing some growing!
I can feel her move all the time:)
She is really becoming quite active.
Ryan was able to feel her to a full flip on Saturday night:) It was awesome to see the look on his face.
Gosh we love her already.
