I have some fun photos to post this week of a photo shoot Allison and I did of the girls for their daddy's V Day gifts:)
But first I must show some pictures we took of Cate and Fin on their snow day together!! I love these two little girls so much:)
Traveling with a Baby:)
So my mom, sister, Cate and I are traveling on a girls trip to San Francisco on Thursday morning! This will be Cate's first plane ride!! Does anyone have any tips for this momma?? Any and ALL advice is welcome:)
My blog friend and now real life friend Megan needs our prayers for her and her sweet baby boy Cohen! Please left them up in your prayers daily!!

On the plane, if Cate gets fussy, put your hand on her jaw bone right beneath her ear and slowly pull towards her chin, sliding your fingers as you do it. Keep doing this for awhile and it should help relieve the pressure.
At least, this is what they tell us to do at school. I haven't spent a lot of time on a plane with a baby so I can't personally vouch for it ... but apparently it works wonders. :)

Oh I love them so much! I can't get enough of their cuteness! One day if I ever figure out my blog I will post about them!! Will def. keep your friend in my prayers too.

We traveled with A when she was a couple months old. It was no biggie. Just make sure you have a bottle ready for takeoff/landing. And allow some extra time for security. Other than that, have a great time in San Fran!

Here are some things that worked really well for us! Feed her when you take off and land (the sucking should help her ears not hurt during the pressure changes AND hopefully she'll fall asleep for a while=)!) If she's not used to sleeping in your arms for naps, practice several times before you leave for your trip so she knows what to expect and how you'll calm her when you can just sit in a plane seat=) Do you have a Bjorn? We've traveled lots, email me if you want=)!

my 3 girls are seasoned travelers! They have all flown several times and seem to do just fine. I've always heard that if your baby is fussy while flying to feed them to help relieve the pressure. Good Luck!

Ya know it says you are 63 weeks prego? lol...oh memories!
When I traveled w/Matty at 8 months, I didn't bring a stroller so I could dodge in and out and instead wore him in my mei tai (soft structed carrier-Beco, Ergo, Angelpack are other brands) w/ a backpack that had a small pouch of my things (gloss, compact, id, money, cell phone) and then of course the rest was for him. Bring plenty of diapers, wipes, formula stuff just in case of layover possibilities. I'm glad you're going with two other adults because you can juggle her around if needed.
I will say a prayer for your friend! Hope you have a nice trip.
