Hello Hello:) This and That

HI HI HI

I have had a very interesting last two weeks!!

My mom fell and broke her ankle and had to have a cast put on it and then a week later, have surgery. She now has 8 screws in her ankle and a steel plate! The day my mom had her surgery, one of my besties from high schools father passed away! :( :(

In the mornings, my sister goes to my parents house and helps my mom get ready for the day and then I head over there around 10 and run her errands, take her to appointments, get her lunch ready, make her meals and make she is comfortable and happy! I really haven't had a minute to breathe lately! My grandparents came and stayed for a week and I was so sad when they left! It has been a really long time since I got to see them every single day for a week and Cate was so lucky to see them everyday too!

I honestly don't mind though! I mean now that I am a mom, I hope Cate will take good care of me someday, if I were to fall and break my ankle. It's the very least I can do for her. She made me who I am today and I am mighty glad to help!

It is going to take her eight weeks to fully recover! Please pray for her and for her to have patience!

Also, please pray for my friend Jens family! Terry will be greatly, greatly missed! He was a wonderful man! As soon as he would walk into a room, the room would light up with his smile!!

Cate Lately
- On Cinco De Mayo, she waved for the first time! She was waving bye bye to her Gaw Gaw and Paw Paw:) My grandparents, her great

- She is now a big clapper! She claps at everything, especially if you say "yayayaya"

- She loves all kinds of food... expect anything with carrots and no avocado

- She still isn't crawling but she will scoot to things

- Her belly laugh is the cutest thing ever! I got it on video last night and I'm trying to upload it to my blog!

- She says Momma all the time

- We try for DaDa but she just won't say it

- She knows what she wants now and isn't afraid to show us by sometimes screaming... this is not a good thing!

- Her new trick is moving from her tummy to the sitting position! A very cute trick during the day, not so cute at night when you put her to sleep and she rolls onto her tummy and then sits up and cant figure out how to get back down!

- When Allison and Finley walk into a room, Cate squeals with delight, claps her hands and laughs

- She does this really cute chuckle sometimes and it sounds kind of deep

- She is a huge mommas girl. Has to know where I am at all times

I'm sure I'm leaving out somethings but I will remember and post another day:)

I'm so blessed that God place Catharine Isabella in my life. I really don't know what we did without her. She is truly a gift from above and I cherish every single day with her!!! Thank you God for blessing us with her!!!
