Some Party Details

We had her birthday party at my parents house:)Thanks Mom and Dad for helping host such a memorable first birthday for our precious little girl! It was such a fun day and I cannot believe it is already over:( Big TEAR!!

The living room fireplace!! I made a first birthday video for her and we had it playing on repeat the whole time:) The video was 43 minutes long! I would post it on here but I do not think you guys would have the time to watch it! I am so happy with how it turned out though:)

I put her monthly green chair pictures in cupcakes and had them lined on the kitchen ledge:) I was really happy with how they turned out:)

Decorated high chair

My adorable napkin wraps:) My blog friend Natalie made them:) Thanks Natalie! I love how everything turned out!! You are the best!

My favorite "Momma drink," and lemon, lime, orange water. These were outside on the drink table but it was to hot at the time to put them out there quite yet.

I found two beautiful vases from Hobby Lobby and filled them with gum balls!

An adorable painting by Natalie that went with my party colors and theme

The cake table with the poms that I bought and used to base the colors off of for her party!

The cake!! The top tier was a cupcake and I took it off and used it as her smash cake!

My sweet and adorable blog friend Kristin had a tablecloth monogrammed for her daughter on her first birthday! I tweeted how adorable I thought it was and that I was interested in doing it for Cate. Well, Kristin did it for me!! How sweet is she!!! Thank you my sweet friend!! Each year I will have it monogrammed with something that has to do with her birthday that year. Such an adorable idea!

Party favor table

For the adults I had cupcake cookies made and then also, put a cupcake cookie cutter with them. For the kiddos I had cupcake cookie crayons made and also included some bubbles:)

Random decorations

My blog friend Karah made some similar tulle wreaths for her sweet nieces birthday party and I emailed her for advice on how she did it:) She emailed me a "How To," email and this is what I came up with:) My friend Allison made one and I made one:) We were very pleased with how they turned out! Thanks Karah:)

I made little picture signs to hang up around the house and outside. I also, had one on the back gate but forgot to snap a picture.

More cookie party favors

Drink Stations

Table Center pieces

The backyard table area

I made a C and a 1 with flower foam and then glued fake gerber daisys into the foam. They were supposed to float in the big pool but too many people were swimming and they were not staying put. So I just stuck them in the baby pools!

I wil post cake pictures later this week:) Along with a video of her eating her cake and being sung too:) Here is a sneak peak of how she liked her cake

Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and a special shout out to my blog friend and real life friend Megan:) Congrats on being pregnant! I am sooo sooo soo excited for you and Luke!!
