I cannot believe Cate is 14 months old:) And next week she will be 15! Crazy
Cate is such a joy and is really at a FUN age!
Cate Happenings:)* Cate is walking every where! She really took off this month
* She started walking on her 14 month birthday:)
* She has 4 teeth that are fully out:) And 4 more that are partially showing:)
* She loves playing in her kitchen
* She pretends she is pouring coffee, making soup, making cookies, uses her whisk to stir stuff up:)
* She loves her babies! Walks them, rocks them, kisses them, hugs them:)
* She is very into trying to feed herself. She loves when I let her have the bowl of peas and the spoon:) It really excites her
* She loves playing outside and swinging
* She has been really sick this month and has missed playing outside. She sits by the front door or back door and cries because she wants to play outside so bad
* She LOVES bath time and has really become brave in the water. She dunks her head under and splashes
* She takes swim lessons on Wednesday nights with her daddy! She is doing so well
* She is also in a music class on Tuesday mornings and LOVES dancing and singing
* She has become quite the little dancer! I need to get her dance moves on video! She kind of does a little move with her hips. It is so funny
* She LOVES to give HUGS.. Her and Finley are always hugging and loving on each other! It is the sweetest thing
* Speaking of HUGS:) Daisy is Cate's favorite animal to hug:) And climb on and play with
* Taking walks in her wagon is one of her favorite things too
* She is starting to talk more and more. Sometimes we are not sure what she is saying but she sure knows what she is talking about:)
* We had to visit the Doctor a lot this month and she is so well behaved there! She sits so still and didn't even flinch when they pricked her finger
* She LOVES ELMO so much! She carries her Elmo doll around and her Elmo book
* She loves bags and purses. Most of the time her Elmo doll, a baby doll and a book are in her cupcake purse on her shoulder:)
* She can also be found carrying around a spatula or a whisk and a bowl
* She mimics what we do all the time:)
* I was writing on a piece of paper and she wanted a piece, I gave her one and she was pretending to write too:)
* On a walk the other day she was pretending to pour a water bottle into her sippy cup
* They told me at Mothers Day Out the other day that Cate loves to play with cars and give hugs:)
* She was sick on Halloween but was feeling a tad better that night so my dad and Ryan took her to a few houses trick-or-treating. The first house they went to, Ryan set her down and she cried because she thought he was leaving her there! She eventually got the hang of it and LOVED it:)
* She LOVES pretending. Pretending to make food in her kitchen, pretending to feed her baby, pretending to change her babies diaper, etc
* She has three favorite books now:
Have yourself a Furry Little Christmas, Baby at the Farm and Ten Tiny Tadpoles* If I tell her to bring me something, she does:) Well, most of the time
* She gets to excited when I tell her, "We are going to see Finley!" She starts clapping her hands and squealing!
* Eskimo kisses are so FUN to her
* With supervision she can climb off the bed and couch. She turns herself around and slides down, belly down and feet first
* She LOVES books!
* When she is tired, she lays her head down on a pillow, my shoulder, the ground, etc.
We love her so much and thank God every single day for her! I really do not know what we ever did without her! She brightens all my days!
Thank you all for the get well prayers for her. She is starting to feel better and we pray we don't have to visit the doctor anytime soon!
