Merry Christmas!!

I had so much fun working on our Christmas cards this year! It is so much fun picking out a layout and pictures! I even created my parent's card for them as well:)

15 Months Old

Keeping with my pattern:) Cate is 15 months old for one more day:) So I am posting her 15 month post now!!

I cannot believe she is 15 months old! She is so much fun right now and is taking everything in! She is like a little sponge and I thank God every single day that I am able to watch her grow and learn! I just stare at her some days and feel so very very blessed!!

15 month happenings:)
* She has four top teeth fully showing, a top molar coming in, 4 bottom teeth fully showing and a bottom molar almost fully through.
* Those molars have really been causing her trouble! Poor girl
* She has been sick a lot her 15 month of life:( Lots of colds and more ear infections
* We celebrated Thanksgiving 3 times. At one of them she only loved the potatoes, at another she only at tomatoes and black olives and at the last Thanksgiving celebration she ate EVERYTHING:) I guess she was just getting warmed up!
* She had double ear infections on Thanksgiving day:(
* She had her 15 month appointment this month and did so good at the doctors office! Barely even cried during her shots!
* She loves Mothers Day Out. She claps when we pull up to the church and then leaps out of my arms to Miss Pam.
* She brought home lots of Christmas Crafts last week! One was an adorable Christmas tree with her face in the star on the top!
* She loves to walk around the house with a piece of a paper and a pen. She pretends she is writing
* She graduated from Diaper Dolphins this month! I have some great videos of her jumping off the board and doing a seated dive:) She got a pink ribbon at swim graduation
* She does the cutest "Cheese" face now. She does it when I want to take a picture
* She has always loved to dance but this month, she is a dancing a fool:)
* She loves to color with crayons
* She is still very outgoing but seems to be going through a bit of a shy period
* She has been going to bed between 8 and 830. She pushed her bedtime up on her own
* Currently she loves to sing: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle, Happy & You Know it, Baby Bumble Bee and ABC's. She knows the hand motions to the first three songs:)
* We put her first set of pig tails in this month:)SOOO CUTE
* She will find Daisy's collar and go and try to put it on her
* She has grown quite attached to all her lovies. She now carries three around daily
* She still does not like the gym daycare:( Not only does she cry when we pull up, she usually cries the whole time we are there... I cannot understand why?!
* Sesame Street is still her very favorite show and really the only one she ever watches
* Her cousin Evan always says, "GO GO GO," and lately Cate has been saying that a lot:)
* She loves her cousins. She is always hugging them and following her older cousin Grant around.
* She has really been good with the Christmas trees (Hope I didn't just jinx myself:))
* We went and saw Santa and well, he freaked her out
* She LOVES brushing her teeth! Some days she tricks everyone she is around into brushing her teeth. She will stand at the bathroom sink and say, "teeth," and whoever she is saying it to, will brush her teeth. And some days she will say it to every new person she sees;)
* She loves to brush her teeth by herself though. She doesn't want any help from anyone
* She can get off the bed and couch on her own now. It is really cute to watch her flip over on her tummy and slide down
* She was just taking one long nap a day but the last week she has been taking 2 naps
* She LOVES ice cream. She had her first ice cream cone this month
* When she is hungry, she goes and stands by her high chair and says, "Eat."
* Feeding the dogs from her high chair is so funny and fun to her:)
* When she is tired she twirls her hair, she has done this since she was itty bitty
* She loves sitting on the fireplace:) It is so cute
* When I lay a blanket over the fireplace ledge, she will even lay down on the fireplace
* She LOVES to wear curlers in her hair:) My mom always put them in!!
* She loves playing with phones
* She walks around chatting on any phone she can get her hands on
* Bags of any kind are so much fun to her
* She loves helping me in the kitchen! She helped decorate Christmas cookies the other day:)
* She is a snuggler:) She loves to lay her head down on our shoulders!
* She loves apples!
* She had her second ever cupcake this month too:) She gobbled it down:)
* We took Cate and FInley to make Cookies for Santa plates this month:) They turned out soo cute!


I know I always say this, but I cannot imagine our lives without her. She really completes us. She brightens even the cloudiest of days! We are beyond blessed and THANK GOD every single day for all the blessings we have in our life! Cate is the biggest and best blessing ever! I am so happy to be her momma!!!

Best of Friends ~ Cate N Fin

Cate and Finley are the best of friends! It is such a joy to watch the two of them play together! They play so well together. Cate is always hugging Finley!

Finley is the sweetest little girl and I am so blessed to be able to watch her grow up along side Cate. God really blessed Allison and I when He put the girls in our lives!!!! I love FInley like she is my own daughter and Cate loves her like a sister! I hope everyone has a friend like Allison and FInley in their lives:)

Hope everyone is doing great! I have been super busy and Cate has still be battling sickness! Hopefully today we are on the uphill climb of health!
I will be posting Cate's 15 month post this week! She will be 16 months next week! Where does time go??
