oh my! I was reading the list thinking " I wish my son would eat that much!" The only things I know he will eat are grapes, goldfish crackers and cheerios! Everything else he might like one day, and will hate the next!

I have a daughter that is a picky eater also! She'll eat broccoli or cauliflower as long as they are cooked and covered in cheese. She also likes green beans. But so far, that's all the veggies she will eat.

My son is your daughter's age... and food is becoming tricky for us, too! He does like pancakes and waffles and muffins. So... I've made sweet potato pancakes, added almond butter and jelly to the Eggos, and put extra banana or fruits in our muffins.

He also really likes frozen bean and cheese mini-chimis. They are our food of last resort!

My suggestion is to get Jessica Seinfelds Deceptiv...

My suggestion is to get Jessica Seinfelds Deceptively Delicious cookbook. Wonderful ways to incorporate veggies without your little one realizing they are even eating them! For example, puree butternut squash and hide it in Mac N Cheese! Of course you should keep offering veggies to your child, but have the satisfaction of them eating them even if they turn them down!

Caroline likes veggies on her pizza, weird but it works. The girl also likes cucumbers, as in will eat a whole one for dinner. I can't even get her to eat grilled chicken. I feel like she's going to turn into a processed food! But...if she's hungry she eats, just keep that in mind! Glad to know I'm my alone though! :) love the boots!!

my kids don't eat veggies very often either! I have the deceptively delicous book but honestly I just don't have time to puree veggies and then store them and then cook them into recipes that my kids most likely won't eat anyways. I have chopped zuccinni up really really small and mixed it in with spaghetti or meatloaf (no one noticed). Molly was always SOOO tiny (3rd % on the growth chart) so we met with a nutritionist. She said the worst thing you can do is try to force them to eat stuff.

Welcome to my world:) I think it's just a toddler thing....Jackson doesn't even want MILK! Ugh. I just try to sneak the veggies in our meal. I have a great turkey meatloaf recipe that I throw tons of veggies in and he gobbles it up. Also, I cook a few reciepes out of the Deceptively Delicious cookbook. Some days he eats great some days he doesn't...overall he's heathly so I don't worry too much about it.

She is too cute!! I LOVE her pigtails!! Have you looked at any of the books that guide you on combining the stuff they like with the healthy stuff that they don't like...I think The Sneaky Chef is one AND Deceptively Delicious? My best advice, is feed her what you and Ryan eat. We always eat together as a family, and Kirsten eats the exact same meal that we do. Maybe I'm also a little lucky, but she eats everything. Just what works for us!

Holy moly - she is cute in those boots. I wish I could offer some help but cheddar bunnies and veggie sticks are the only things that G will eat all the time...oh and munchkins. Everything else is a "sometimes" food. Eating healthy foods/a variety of foods is a daily battle. Hopefully someone else can offer some insight that I can borrow :)

G will sometimes drink fruit smoothies or yogurt smoothies when I am trying to get some nutrition into her - have you tried either of those?

What about turkey meatballs? I make my guy mini on...

What about turkey meatballs? I make my guy mini ones and mix in chopped cooked spinach, pureed carrots & flax seed meal (along with all of the regular meatball seasoning like garlic, parm cheese etc) You honestly can't taste the veggies and he scarfs them down...for now : ) He is also a huge fan of the fruit & veggie purees that come in a pouch b/c he can do it himself... (we don't do baby food any more, but he loves to suck these down as a snack and it's an awesome additional serving of fruit/veggies...Gerber, earths best, happy baby, ellas kitchen & plum organics all hame yummy flavors!) HTH! Also, have you checked out jessica seinfield's cookbook "Deceptively Delicious" great ideas!

I could have written this post today. Leighton won't eat anything lately, except for berries, bananas, cheese, crackers (oh lord, she LOVES crackers & must have one in each hand), zucchini, sometimes green beans, and Sunshine bars. I kid you not. I'm going to attempt to make my spinach balls again this weekend, b/c she gobbled them up the last time. I hope you get a lot of responses on here b/c it is SO frustrating!
